Bellows & Brass

A powerful and engaging ensemble, Bellows and Brass has consistently drawn full houses and enthusiastic audiences for their presentations. They have enjoyed extended tours and appearances for Debut Atlantic, Encore Atlantic, The Winnipeg Contemporary Music Festival, Chappelle de Bon Pasteur, Community Concerts (Columbia Artists USA), Festival of the Sound, and Festival Domaine Forget, and Place des Artes.

This ensemble is committed to making music that engages and remains – fun. Their concerts have been described by the media as “ brilliant... entertaining, awesome”. Their recent recording Bellows and Brass and Boyd was described by The American Record Guide as "superb…eye-popping playing”. In February of 2005 they gave the world premiere of Boyd MacDonald's Triple Concerto with the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra.

Bellows and Brass programs range from the Renaissance to Romantic, contemporary to tangos, song to dance.Their latest program includes a 'mini- opera' for sock puppets entitled "The Perfect Cake - A Night at the Opera” A rollicking good time for audiences of all ages!
