Petric-Forget Duo
The Petric-Forget Duo have been in demand since their debut performances of the Bach Trio Sonatas in adaptation for accordion and oboe. They recently released their recording of the Bach Trio Sonatas on the Odeofon label.
Committed to building new audiences, the Duo has enjoyed performances at the Ottawa Chamber Music Festival, live broadcasts for the CBC and Societe Radio Canada and in an extensive tour for Nova Scotia's Baroque series Musique Royale.
In 2007 the duo will begin an American tour through New York, Washington's Philips Gallery and Pennsylvannia, with European tours planned for 2008 and 2009 respectively.New program offerings for future seasons include an exploration of the Mozart violin sonatas, and to further develop their audience base, began a new collaboration in June 2007 with Toronto based choreographer Heidi Strauss and stage director Jeremy Mimnagh in their multi-media presentation Bach Tardis. |
