Die Winterreise

The Die Winterreise collaboration made its highly successful debut in Montreal in Feburary of 2003, with subsequent performances at Festival Domaine Forget's Salle Bernier and a live recording for Societe Radio Canada in Quebec City. Between 2004 and 2006 Die Winterreise was presented with lyric baritone Russell Braun, baritone Phillip Addis, and tenor Rufus Muller in 12 performances including Montreal's Salle Claude Champagne, and the Georgian Series. The former performance was nominated for a PRIX OPUS 2005. In September of 2007, Die Winterreise will be recorded for the Montreal based ATMA label, followed by performances in Montreal and Quebec City with German tenor Kristoph Pregardien. A European debut is planned for this work in the 2008-2009 season.
